The following Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions on The Irish Grenadier online shop. Please read carefully and print a copy for future reference. All orders are made subject to acceptance by you of the site's terms and conditions of trading. No amendments to these terms and conditions will be accepted by The Irish Grenadier.

Restrictions

* Edge Weapons and Firearms can only be purchased by customers 18 years of age or older.  By accepting the terms and conditions of The Irish Grenadier, you are stating that you are 18 years of age or older. All firearms listed on this site don't require a firearms certificate as they are of obsolete Calibre, Rim Fire, Flintlock, Matchlock or percussion. All items are sold for display and collection purposes only, and are not to be used.

We are currently only able to sell ANTIQUE FIREARMS and EDGE WEAPONS within the UK and Ireland. They are sold on a collection only basis available at a Militaria fair in your area or arranged private delivery method. Therefore, if you are interested in purchasing such items please contact us to agree a method of collection or other arrangements  before ordering.* 

Paying by installments

Please contact us to arrange a payment that is tailored to your needs. Our standard system for large sums of money, is to arrange ten monthly payments of 10% of the cost of item per payment, allowing the item or items to be fully paid in ten months. ie. A helmet at £2000 would be paid at £200 per month for ten months. The first payment will be considered as a deposit on the item or items, and will be forfeited if all payments are not paid in full by the agreed date.

PRICES

Prices are in £ sterling and are exclusive of delivery/shipping charges. Please select shipping method at Checkout and the shipping cost will be calculated for your area.  All Items will be sent by signed for and tracked service, (this is reflected in postage price).  The price quoted at the time of the acceptance of your order will be the price charged. 

DELIVERY POLICY

We have no minimum order value and most packages are dispatched the day you order. But please be advised that delivery can take up to five days for UK and up to fourteen days for rest of World.

Please note for larger items, such as Pikes and Cannons delivery charges will be higher and will need to be individually calculated to your delivery address.  This will also apply to items such as edge weapons and firearms, due to postal restrictions.  This amount will be confirmed to you before the payment stage. We have kept this cost to an absolute minimum and only apply it to a small percentage of our products offered.

We always do our best to dispatch orders received before 1pm on the same day but can't always facilitate this. Therefore any orders received after 1pm GMT or during the weekend will be dispatched the following working day.

Delivery times vary depending on where the goods are being sent to and the type of service that has been selected. 

OVERSEAS DELIVERIES

The Irish Grenadier cannot be responsible for any Customs duties and taxes levied by the Customs organisations in the Country of delivery please check before purchase.

We are currently only able to sell ANTIQUE FIREARMS and Edge Weapons within the UK and Ireland. 

INSURANCE

All of our despatches are made using recognised signed for services so that they can be tracked en route and signed for on delivery.

The postage methods used include insurance coverage for the goods sent based on the regulations supplied and limits imposed by the relevant carriers used (APC, Parcel Force and Royal Mail). Any claims for loss or damage will be settled when the claims process is completed by the carrier concerned.

RETURNS POLICY

All items are sold as genuine, however, The Irish Grenadier have a Money Back Guarantee on all items sold should they be found to be fake as long as supporting evidence is supplied. The item(s) must be returned within 14 working days of receipt for exchange or refund in the same condition they were sold.  We offer the same guarantee whether a customer is purchasing items from us at a Militaria fair or the online shop. 

 The following conditions must be met:

1. You must contact us to let us know.
2. Goods must be returned within 14 days of receipt.
3. Goods must be in same condition as purchased from us.
4. Goods must be accompanied with a proof of purchase.
5. Refund will cover item cost only, it will not include return postage.
6. Please ensure that you obtain proof of postage from the Post Office or courier.

DAMAGES

All goods are to be inspected on delivery and any damages should be reported to us within 3 days of receiving your order. If the parcel packaging or goods show any sign of defect or damage you should endorse the carriers consignment note accordingly.  And if possible take a photo of damaged package and damaged item.

The Irish Grenadier is providing this site on an "as is" basis and makes no representations or warranties of any kind with respect to this site or its contents and disclaims all such representations and warranties. The information in this site may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. All liability of The Irish Grenadier howsoever arising for any such inaccuracies or errors is expressly excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. No liability for loss or damage arising from the use of this web-site by any person or body will be accepted by The Irish Grenadier or any of its directors, employees, servants or agents. Such loss or damage referred to includes loss or damage of any kind including without limitation compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property or persons and third party claims.
